Treemap Visual as a more customized slicer in a Power BI report

A little visualization tip
If you want to format a slicer and flexibly change the color of each category in the slicer, you can try to use the treemap visual like a slicer!

You need just to add the selection of categories in the treemap “Group”and choose "count distinct of the categories" in the “Values”, so that each category has the same width.

Then you just have to set the colors of the data.

By default it highlights data on other visuals, but we can change the interaction control to cross-filtering instead of cross-highlighting like the slicer does.
