𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐬🎉

Have you played with the 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐥 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬?

The latest improved capabilities for data labels introduced with the Power BI December release, give us extended customisation choices to integrate additional metrics and enhance the data analysis experience.

Here's a quick rundown of the added features:

✅𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞: The new Title card feature enables the 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐬 on the data labels, with 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐥 𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐬. (In my example, I showcased the Count of Products per category)

✅𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞: 𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 of the data label. (In my case, I highlighted the Total Sales value)

✅𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥: Introducing the ability to 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐚 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜 in your data labels. (In my example, I added the YoY percentage of sales)

✅𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐥 𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐭: A new feature to choose between a 𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞-𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐥 or 𝐚 𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢-𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐥  ( I opted for the multi-line layout in my example)
