I would to share with you a nice example of how we can visualize trends from a previous period to the actual period using Power BI native charts— without having to rely on any custom visual.

✨This approach demonstrates how we can customize a simple 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐭 with 𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐬 to achieve an 𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐭 effect, making our trend analysis more impactful!

• Highlight Changes: Customize data labels to display YoY% sales changes.

• Refine with Conditional Formatting: Adjust formatting for positive/negative values to make trends stand out.
